Johnson Earl Easton William Lake Daniel Huang Ross Chappell Introduction A meeting was held at the request of the Nuclear Assurance Corporation (NAC) at Silver Spring, Maryland, on February 24, 1987, with regard to a pre-application meeting with regard to a spent fuel cask.
Discussion The discussion centered on cask concepts and design philosophy. Structural and shielding materials were discussed.
In addition, lid seals and cavity valving were also discussed.
NAC has not decided on a specific design at this time. No time schedule for submitting an application was given, esbises alened by Distribution:
