In accordance with your application dated December 16, 1985, and its supplements dated March 18, May 19, and June 20, 1986, and pursuant to Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 70, Materials License No. SNM-1067 is hereby amended to authorize the increase in the maximum depth of your closely-packed fuel rods to 6.0 inches in single-plane arrays, in boxes in the Double Shelf Rod Storage Racks and in the Fuel Rod Storage Rack (W.S. 122). Accordingly, the dates of December 16, 1985, March 18, May 19, and June 20, 1986, are added to Item 9 of your license.
l All other conditions of your license shall remain the same.
It should be noted that the number of supplements to the application would have beca reduced had you responded to all the requested additional information.
Enclosed is a copy of our Safety Evaluation Report in support of this amendment.
