6 for the decommissioning of a nuclear power-plant,-in j 7 this case that nuclear power plant being Maine Yankoa.

10 tonight's meeting.  !

! 13 tonight is the decommissioning process. And then on 14 November 6th there Will be another meeting, and I '

15 oelieve that will be here as well --

18 There will be a meeting at-the Wiscasset High School on 19 the post-shutdown activities report, which is the 20 specific report that Maine Yankee has filed in defining 21 how it will be doing its decommissioning process.

22 Just to'get some business out-of the way, I'd first 23 -like to point out that there are sign-up sheets-in the

-24 back of the-room. There are three different sign-up 25 sheets. One is if you want to make a comment or make a

4' 1 statement. The other is if you are requesting a 2 transcript. And I've been informed that the transcript 3 will also be posted on the web site, and it's 4 www.nrc. gov, under news and information. And I can give 5 you that later as well. And the third sheet is if you 6 want to receive correspondence related to the PSDAR. So 7 there are three separate sign-up sheets in the back, if 8 you would like to make use of any of those.

9 The agenda is also available. And if you look at 10 the agenda, you'll see that first we'll have a 11 presentation by Maine Yankee, and Mike Meisner will be 12 presenting. And then we will have a presentation by the 13 NRC, and Mike Webb, who is the decommissioning project 14 manager, will be presenting. There will then be an 15 opportunity for questions on the presentations. That 16 will be followed by a public comment period.

17 And what we will try to do with the time is to 18 determine how many people are interested in speaking, 19 and then divide the time accordingly. We would like to 20 wrap up by 10 o' clock. If that's not possible, then 21 that's not possible, but that certainly is the goal.

22 There are bathrooms, and if you go out the back door 23 and to the right, there are bathrooms. There'u also a 24 water fountain out in that area.
