Enclosed is an application for an export license received recently by the NRC for low-enriched uranium for.use as fuel in the Fukushima II, Unit 2 Nuclear Power Reactor in Japan. A letter of assurance is required that the material will be subject to all of the tenns and conditions of an agreement for cooperation.-
Your. assistance in obtaining the necessary assurance letter will be appreciated.
Please note that the material to be exported is of Canadian origin.
