HIGH LEVEL WASTE DISPOSAL
Dear Mr. Denton:
A request was made by your Staff concerning the status of any agreement with the Department of Energy (DOE) and GPC with respect to disposal of nuclear fuel. On June 10, 1983, a contract (No. DE-CR01-83NE44386) was entered into with DOE for the disposal of spent nuclear fuel and/or high/ level radioactive waste for both Unita 1 and 2 of the VEGP.
