Dea ~r Mr. Hickey:
The Staff has re-examined its previous determination as to the release of certain of the documents identified in GPU Nuclear Corporation's Motion to Compel NRC Staff to Produce Documents and Request for Oral Argument, dated February 4,1987. The Staff continues to maintain that its claims of privilege concerning those documents are proper.
However, without waiving its objections to production, as set forth in its prior supplemental interrogatory responses, the Staff is herewith providing the documents identified on Attachment 1.
In addition, during the course of further search of OI files a slightly differently formatted version of the summary of interview of Richard D.
Parks, contained in the September 1, 1983 OI Report, and three draft statements of Mr. Parks have been identified.
The summary and those drafts are also enclosed herewith.
