Under the Beaver Valley Power Station Unit No. 1 License DRP-66, and in accordance with the requirements of Specifications 6.9.1.12 and 6.9.1.13 of the Technical Specifications, the Semi-Annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report is hereby submitted.

This report contains the information required by USNRC Regulatory Guide 1.21, Revision 1 and the Technical Specifications. A brief description of the reports format is as follows:

o T.2cvar Valley Power Stetton, Unit No. 1 F Docket No. 50-334 License No. DRP-66 Page Two In accordance with Surveillance Requirement 4.11.2.1.2 for LCO 3.11.2.1 of the Technical Specifications: Table 4.11-2 requires continuous particulate and iodine sample collection of the ventilation systems. Contrary to the above, on 7/22/86 a seven and one half hour time period elapsed without the continuous collection of particulate and iodine samples from the Rx Contalnment/SLCRS Ventilation Pathway (RM-VS-110). Back-up continuous sampling is normally performed by RM-VS-Il2, but this monitor was inoperable due to a pump failure.
