Mr. J. Nelson Grace In previous correspondence (GN-1207), Georgia Power Company identified a reportable condition pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.55(e) involving the lubricant used in containment cooler fan motor bearing cavi-ties.
Table 1 of the evaluation summary attached to correspondence GN-1207 identified those fan motors potentially affected by the reported condition and their status.
Two of these fan motors,1-1531-B7-005 and 1-1531-B7-006, are shown in Table 1 with an indication that their bearings were scheduled to be replaced prior to Unit 1 fuel load.
However, these fan motors are not required until the control rooms for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 are included within the envelope of the Emergency HVAC Return and Supply System.
There-fore, Georgia Power Company has deferred corrective actions relative to fan motors 1-1531-B7-005 and 1-1531-87-006 until the first Unit I refueling out-age.
