NRC INSPECTION REPORT PADUCAH 70-7001/99012(DNMS)

Dear Mr. Adkins:

On September 2, _1999, the NRC completed a routine security inspection of your Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant. The purpose of this inspection was to determine if security requirements were adequately being implemented and included a review of your approved Paducah Security Plan for the Protection of Classified Matter. At the conclusion of the inspection, the inspectors discussed the findings with members of your staff.

Areas examined during this inspection are identified in the report.' Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations of activities in progress.

Based on the results of the inspection, the NRC determined that no violations of NRC requirements were identified.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
