TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE REQUEST - SCRAM DUMP TANK VALVES Attached are three (3) originals and thirty-seven (37) conformed copies of a request for change to the Big Rock Point Technical Specifications. This change is being requested to include a second scram dump tank vent and a second scram dump tank drain valve into the Technical Specifications. These valves are scheduled to be installed during the 1987 refueling outage. The second valves are being installed to reduce the potential for a LOCA due to a single failure in the scram dump tank system. Big Rock Point will implement the proposed change following the installation of the valves.
Pursuant to 10CFR170.12(c), a check in the amount of $150.00 is remitted with this application.
