Dear Mr. Patterson:
Enclosed please find one (1) copy of Revision 10 to the Callaway Plant Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP) for your preliminary information and review.
A description of all changes made from Revision-9 is included.
Also enclosed is a copy of Revision l6 to EIP-ZZ-00101, Emergency Action Levels.
This revision incorporates comments from your inspection of January 26-30, 1987.
Revision 10 was prompted by changes identified during a review of the Emergency Action Levels (EALs); changes to reflect a new location for the Joint Public Information Center (JPIC) and the Back-Up Emergency Operations Facility (BEOF) ; recent company organizational changes; and minor editing.
It is our opinion that Revision 10 does not decrease the effec-tiveness of Emergency Preparedness at Callaway and that the plan continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47 (b) and the requirements of 10 CFR 50, Appendix E.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54 (q), we intend to implement this revision on March 15, 1987.
Formal distribution of this document will be made subsequent to its implementation.
