SUBJECT:
SEQUOYAH UNIT 2 SCRAM At 12:28 a.m. on May 23, 1988 Sequoyah Unit 2 scramed from 72% power.
All
-systems functioned normally and the plant remains (8:30 a.m.) in a hot standby t
condition while-the licensee conducts a post-trip review to determine the exact cause and sequence of the trip. Based on preliminary information, the trip
[ ] occurred during calibration of the reactor coolant low flow trip channels.
Unit 2 had been restarted on 5/21/88 after a trip from 71% power on 5/19/88.
