This is to inform you that the training program for the Bus Drivers of the Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE) has been completed. This formal training was conducted by the Ohio Disaster Services Agency (ODSA), Ottawa County Emergency Management Agency, Lucas County Civil Defense and Toledo Edison for the schools within the Emergency Planning Zone (EPZ) and for those schools outside the EPZ which would assist with an evacuation in the unlikely event of a radiological emergency at Davis-Besse.
Future training of these personnel will be conducted in accordance with the Ottawa and Lucas County Emergency Plans on a regular basis.
