SUBJECTi INSPECTION REPORT NO. 70-7001/99-202
Dear Mr. Adkins:
This refers to the fire protection inspection by Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
~ Headquarters staff conducted on August 16-20,1999, at your facility in Paducah, Kentucky.
The purpose of this inspection was to determine whether activities authorized by your certificate were conducted safely and in accordance with the NRC requirements. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.
Areas reviewed during the inspection are identified in the report. Within these areas, the
. inspection consisted of facility walk-throughs, selective examinations of procedures and record, examinations of safety equipment, interviews with personnel, and observations.
