Braidwood Station Unit 2 Construction Progress NRC Docket 50-457 Deat Mr. Denton:
Commonwealth Edison has recently completed a detailed review of the activities remaining to be completed on Braidwood Unit 2 to support fuel load.
Our scheduled target fuel load date is currently January 31, 1988, and we do not wish to change that date at this time.
However, we do wish to inform you that we are ahead of that schedule and our planning now supports a readiness to load fuel in Unit 2 as early as December 11, 1987.
We will continue to advise you periodically of our construction progress.
If your planned review completion schedule conflicts with this earlier date, please advise us.
Please address any questions concerning this matter to this office.
