McGuire Nuclear Station, Unit 2 Docket No. 50-370 Gentlemen:
In supplement to my letter to NRC/0NRR dated May 3, 1985 concerning implementation of HED's as part of the Control Room Design Review, please find attached a table that identifies 23 HED's for McGuire Unit 2.
(Please note that this table is in the same form, and the same notes apply as Table 2 of the above mentioned letter.)
Duke is committed to have completed 80% of the total Unit 2 HED's by the end of the 1987 refueling outage. Following completion of these 23 HED modifications during this refueling outage, 91.7% of the total number of Unit 2 HED's will have been implemented.
For informational purposes, Unit 2 is currently expected to shutdown in May, 1987.
