5 331%6 Jay E. Silberg, Esquire Shaw, Pittman, Potts & Trowbridge 1800 M Street, NW IN RESPONSE REFER Washington, DC 20036 TO F01A-86-469
Dear Mr. Silberg:
This is in response to your letter dated June 20, 1986, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), three categories of records related to Section 7601 of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation'Act of 1985.
The NRC recently published a proposed rule on 10 CFR Part 171 which relates to Section 7601 and placed certain records related to the rule into the tiRC's Public Document Room (PDR), 1717 H Street, NW, Washington DC 20555,'for public inspection and copying.
It is my understanding that as a result of your telephone conversations with Trip Rothschild of the Office of the General Counsel, you are satisfied that the records placed in the PDR rulemaking file respond fully to your request.
The NRC, therefore, is taking no further action on your request. You may, of course, submit another F0IA request if you become interested in additional records related to this matter.
p Sincerely,
~
(
