m NRC-26-96-265 13 CONTINUATION PAGE I The purpose of this contract _ modification is (1) to incorporate a within ecope change:for travel support GAN personnel to attend SAT at St.

Petersburg, (2) to provide an equitable adjustment in cost and fee to the contractor for a performance delay caused by the lack of government funding, (3) to adjust the contract estimated cost for the definitization of the subcontract.to provide facilities modifications to the St. Petersburg site

for analytical simulator, (4) and to provide the final allotment of funds to complete funding of the contract. Accordingly, the contract is hereby modified as follows:

1. The-contract estimated cost is increased by $20,659 and the fixed fee is increased by $1,549.for the contractor to provide travel support including the payment for all allowable travel expenses for 2 GAN engineers and one operator from the Kursk NPP to travel to GAN St. Petesburg site for 30 days for SAT. In addition, The Contractor will provide travel support for 3 additional GAN engineers to travel from Moscow to St. Petersburg for SAT for 7 days.

2. The NRC hereby provides the contractor with an increase to the estimated cost in the amount of $41,439 and in the fixed fee in the amount of $3,108 due to the additional time required for shutting down and restarting performance due to delays in the Government's allotment of funds to this contract.

3. The contract estimated cost is hereby increased by $16,926 ($24,926 less

$8,000 in original proposal) for the final firm fixed subcontract price egreed upon for the facilities modification work to be completed at GAN St.

Petersburg, Russia for the analytical simulator.

4. As a result of items nos. 1, 2, and 3 above, the estimated cost and fixed fee of the contract is increased as shown below:

5. In support of items nos. 1, 2 ans 3 above and to fully fund this contract, $233,604 is hereby hereby allotted to this contract. As a result of this allotment of funds and item no. 4 above, Section B.3 " Consideration and Obligation" is hereby replaced by the revised Section B.3 below:

B.3 CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION--COST PLUS FIXED FEE (JUN 1988)

(a) The total estimated cost to the Government for full performance of the contract (basic contract and all exercised options) is'$5,057,791 of which the sum of $4,709,687 represents the estimated reimbursable costs, and of which $348,104 represents the fixed fee.

(b) There shall be no adjustment in the amount of the Contractor's fixed fee by reason of differences between any estimate of cost for performance of the work under this contract and the actual cost for performance of that work.

(c) The amount currently obligated by the Government with respect to this contract is $5,057,791.

Paragraphs (d) and (e) for the Rovno options are deleted.

6. Section F.6~ Duration of Contract is hereby replaced by the following paragraph.
