This violation identified that the LaSalle Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) had not been updated to i
reflect the change in initial and maximum suppression pool temperatures approved by License Amendments 67 (Unit 1) and 49 (Unit 2), issued t
July 1989.
The October 15,1997, completion date was contingent on General Electric (GE) performing a review of their design configuration methods to ensure that margins of safety are not affected by accumulating affects of multiple parameter changes over a period of tinis. The schedule has been impacted by a Comed imposed Stop Work Order (SWO) on GE, and a dats for lifting g
the SWO has not yet been established. Therefore, the completion date for

violation 373/374-96011-18 has been extended to 60 days following receipt

of the review data from GE.
