Failure to Ensure Safe Handling of Loose items inside the Plant Report No. 50-416/9712 (GNRI-97/00138), dated 08/19/97 GNRO-97/00096 Gentlemen:
Entergy Operations, Inc. hereby submits additionalinformation to the Reply to Notice of Violation 50-416/97-12-01.
Based on conversation with Grand Gulf's Resident inspector, we have agreed to enhance procedure 01 S-07-43, " Safe Handling of Loose items inside the Plant". GGNS will place the guidance on obtaining engineering evaluations for use of ladders in a more obvious location in the procedure.
This will be accomplished by 10/30/97.
