October 8, 1997 Nuclear Regulatory Commission Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555 - 0001 DOCKET 50-155 LICENSE DPR 6 BIG ROCK POINT PLANT - ANNUAL REPORT OF FACILITY CHANGES, TESTS AND EXPERIMENTS.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.82(a)(1)(i) and (ii), the Big Rock Point Plant has docketed certifications for ]ermanent cessation of operations and permanent removal of fuel from tie reactor vessel. The decision to shut the facility down permanently resulted in the cancellation of facility changes that were planned to support continued operation of the facility.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.59(b)(2), find attached to this letter Consumers Energy Company's Annual Report describing changes to the Big Rock Point facility performed since October 8. 1996. Attachment 1 describes the modifications performed at the facility, and Attachment 2 provides miscellaneous changes to procedures, programs and technical specifications.
