This is to confirm my understanding that two predecisional enforcement conferences
between NRC Region lli and your staff will be held on Tuesday, oc,tober 7,1997, starting at
12:30 p.m. In the Region lli office in Lisle, Illinois. The predecisional enforcement conferences
will discuss an apparent violation documented in Inspection Report No. 50-440/97008 involving
- an inadequate engineering review of a plar 1 modification and a continued discussion of an .
enforcement conference that was held on April 18,1997, involving corrective actions for a
reactivl'y addition event. These conferences will be open to the public.
