The information presented is as initially received without verification or evaluation and is basically all that is known by Region V staff cn this date.

SUBJECT:
POSSIBLE OVEREXPOSURE OF TWO RADIOGRAPHERS (UPDATE)
As an update to PNO-V-87-10, a U. S. Testing Company representative notified the Region V office on February 11, 1987, that.the film badges which were processed indicated the two radiographers had received 3.1 rem and 2.65 rem whole body exposures. The extremity exposures are being evaluated by the State of Arizona.
Since the radiation exposures took' place during an operation conducted under a State of Arizona. license,. the State of Arizona will be investigating the incident for proper resolution.
This preliminary notification update is issued for information only. This matter is considered closed as of February 18, 1987.
