Response to IE Bulletin 85-03 (d) USNRC Letter to HYAPCo dated September 3, 1986
Subject:
IE Bulletin 85-03 Gentlemen:
Your letter, Reference (d), requested a revision to our original response, Reference (c), to the subject Bulletin to include a description of our program for selecting, setting and maintaining the switches of the motor-operated valves that we identified in Reference (c).
Maine Yankee is in the process of developing a program description, however, it will not be available within the 30-day timeframe as you requested. He anticipate that the program description will be available for submittal by about December 1, 1986.
Reference (d) also requested a synopsis of our program for demonstrating operability of each of the motor-operated valves by testing whether or not the valve testing can be presently done.
This will be addressed along with our program description.
