50-328 SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT - DIESEL GENERATOR (D/G) LOADING SEQUENCE
'! ihe purpose of this letter is to document that the modified D/G load sequence timers and random load enable timers which resulted from the D/G load analysis corrective action will be included in the Sequoyah Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) and plant surveillance instructions. A commitment to perform this action was discussed with B. J. Youngblood during a TVA and NRC meeting in Bethesda, Maryland, on January 21, 1987.
Physical modification of the D/G loading sequence is currently being performed. This modification precludes potential D/G overloading following a loss of offsite power concurrent with a safety injection and phase B containment isolation.
The FSAR will be revised to reflect this modification in the first annual FSAR update following completion of the modification. This will probably be the 1988 annual update. The plant surveillance instructions will be revised by unit 2 restart.
