Waterford III Steam Electric Station. This was the third offsite radio-logical emergency preparedness exercise at the Waterford III Steam Electric Station, and was a partial-participation exercise for the State of Louisiana and the Parishes of St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, and Jefferson. This exercise report was prepared by the FEMA Region VI office staff.
There were no deficiencies identified during this exercise; and only one area requiring corrective action. 'Ihe State reviewed the draf t report and has included the corrective action schedule in this final :.eport. Therefore, the offsite radiological emergency plans and preparedness are adequate to protect the health and safety of the public in the event of an emergency at the Water-ford III Steam Electric Station. In addition, the 44 CFR 350 approval granted on July 15, 1984, will remain in effect.
