As requested in your letter dated March 4,1997, Quality Assurance (QA) Program, Approval No. 0238 is hereby terminated.
During a telephone discussion on September 30,1997, NRC Spent Fuel Project Office staff members (Mr. Ross Chappell, Ms. Nancy Osgood, Mr. Thomas Matula, and myself) discussed with Mr. Jack Paterson of your staff the Amendment No. 54 to your Materials License No.19 00915-06, dated September 29,1997, and the effect that terminating your QA Program Approval will have on your Certificate of Compliance (COC) No. 5362. The affected COC will be discussed in separate correspondence.
Please note that records required by 10 CFR 71.91 and 71.135 are to be retained fc: a period of three years.
