In accordance with 10 CFR 50.82(a)(1)(ii), this letter certifies that Coasumers Energy Company's Big Rock Point Nuclear Plant has permanently removed all of the fuel from the reactor vessel. The last fuel bundle was removed from the vessel at 1756 on September 20, 1997. All of the spent fuel onsite is now stored in the spent fuel pool inside containment.
