Dear Mr. Caravelli:
This refers to our letter dated June 28,1999 to Trisha Dedik regarding amendments to ABB Combustion Engineering export licenses XSNM02905 and XSOU8727. In our letter we had requested DOE assistance in obtaining assurances from EURATOM that the material remaining to be exported under the two licenses would be handled in accordance with the U.Sl EURATOM Agreement for Cooperation. The enclosed e-mail from ABB, dated August 10 and f
August 19, provides the additional information which we requested regarding the quantities of material remaining to be exported under these licenses. Please forward the information to EURATOM and request that they provide the appropriate assurances. If you need any additional information, please advise.
