Electrical / Mechanical Component Training Course MTS 016. Valve Actuators. The work shall be performed in accordance with the statement of work, as set forth herein, and the contractor's (hereinafter to be referred to as TVA) proposal, with the exception of the revisions made in this Modification No.10, which is hereby incorporated by reference. Therefore, this agreement is revised as follows:

NRC-05-84-153 Modification 10 page 2 A. Article II. Scope of Work, is hereby revised to include the following new paragraph:

N. Statement of Work (for the effort specifically set forth in this RoMYTea'tionNo.10)

1.0 Background

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission licenses and inspects power reactor facilities to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards during all phases of construction, testing and operation in order to identify conditions which may adversely affect the health and safety of the public. In support of this mission, the NRC's Office of Inspection and Enforcement provides a program of training for Reactor Resident Inspectors, Engineering Support j Inspectors and other NRC Engineers.

2.0 Ob.iective The objective of this training is to provide NRC inspectors and supervisors with technical infomation and hands-on experience about el',jt1 the operation and maintenance of motorized valve operators. This g hould Trair.inim4% improve their ability to conduct in-depth inspections and design reviews to detemine whether or not such components meet applicable codes and standards.

3.0 Work Statement 3.1 Scope l

Training will consist of approximately 22 hours2.546296e-4 days <br />0.00611 hours <br />3.637566e-5 weeks <br />8.371e-6 months <br /> of classroom instruction and hands-on training. Training will be in accordance with the TVA's Electrical / Mechanical Specialized Training Course MT5016, l Valve Actuators.

3.2 Task Statement TVA shall furnish the necessary qualified personnel, facilities, materials, texts and services to present up to six presentations of

, their course MT5016. Valve Actuators. No examinations will be given l

as part of the course presentations.

3.3 Class size and scheduling Up to 12 student may attend each course presentation. Student attendance will be coordinated by the NRC Technical Training Center.

WRC-05-84-153 Modification 10 Page 3 NRC Project Officer and the TVA Maintenance Training Section representative within a minimum of 30 days prior to the actual presentation date. Within 10 days prior to the 30 day coordination period, the NRC Contracting Officer shall notify the TVA in writing that the NRC intends to exercise its option for course presentation.

3.4 Location Courses will be held at the TVA Power Operations Training Center.

Soddy. Tennessee.

3.5 Technical Direction R. L. Anderson, senior Program Manager. Technical Training Center is the Project Officer for the course presentations.

B. Article III Estimate of Cost and Obliestion of Funds, is revised to include the fonowing new paragraph:

The fixed price for the WW99tx. and second courses is $3,280.00 per course, totalling $6,560.00. The remaining four optional courses shall be presented for a price of $3,280.00 per course. This requirement shall be covered by funds obligated under this interagency agreement.

Charges will be billed to the NRC under this agreement and will be set out as a separate item on the quarterly billine statement currently provided to NRC for simulator usage.

C. TVA's proposal, submitted in response to the work set forth herein, is i revised as follows:

Paragraph 2. under Section 3.3, is deleted in its entirety.

Section 3.4 is deleted in its. entirety.

D. In summary and as a result of this Hodification No. 10, the overall estimated cost, inclusive of the fixed price of $6,560.00 for the work set forth herein, and obligation amount are $3,876,706.60 and $1,084,585.00, respectively.

All other terms and conditions remain the same.
