New England Coalition on Nuclear Pollution (NECNP) in its motion seeks clarification of this Board's order of February 3,1987.I The Board has on several occasions stated that we understand and accept that final complete technical responses to Applicants' 10 CFR 2.758 petition may require additional time up to twelve months.

In recognition of that fact, we have provided the opportunity for the 1

New England Coalition on Nuclear Pollution's Response in Support of NRC Staff's Motion for Clarification of Licensing Board's Order of February 3,1987, or, in the Alternative, NECNP's Motion for Clarification and Request for Stay of Licensing Board's Order of February 3, 1987.

2 parties to give us any additional responses, including any technical responses, which they may have available by February 27, 1987.

If NECNP does not wish to supplement its February 2,1987 response in opposition to Applicants' petition, there is no Board requirement to accept the opportunity.
