REQUEST' OF THE SIERRA CLUB FOR PERMISSION TO ENTER UPON LAND OWNED OR CONTROLLED BY PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY DATED OCTOBER 17, 1986 Pursuant to 10 CFR Section 2.741, the SIERRA
- CLUB, as intervenor in the above referenced case, requests permission to enter the grounds and buildings of the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Station for the purpose of inspecting the high density spent fuel racks proposed for use in the spent fuel pools of Units 1 and 2.
The inspection shall take place on Wednesday, November 19, 1986, unless an earlier date is mutually agreed upon by the Sierra Club and PG&E.
The inspection team shall consist of no more than six (6) individuals to be chosen by the Sierra Club.
The inspectors will make photographs and measurements of the high density racks in such a way as to avoid all possibility of damage to the racks.
Ladders or other equipment shall be used as needed to measure and photograph the girdle bars and the upper parts of the racks.
PG6E is requested to provide, no later than Monday, November 17,
- 1986, the name and telephone number of a
responsible representative of the Company to serve as liason with the inspection team.

SIERRA CLUB'S INTERROGATORIES AND REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS TO THE APPLICANT, DATED OCTOBER 17, 1986 The SIERRA CLUB. requests the Applicant, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, to answer the. interrogatories set forth below.
