By letter dated September 26, 1986, Georgia Power Company requested an NRC staff site visit to Vogtle Electric Generating Plant to conduct operator license examinations during the week of September 14, 1987.
The limited time available for license candidates to complete the eligibility requirements for hot licenses necessitates a delay in the examination. schedule.
We request that the operator license examination be deferred to the week of October 19, 1987.
Currently, we project 15 R0 candidates and 15 SRO candidates for this examination instead of the 25 of each -license category previously indicated.
This confirms our telephone request.of February 4,1987 with the Region II, Operator Licensing Section.
If the NRC is unable to support this requested schedule change, please contact this office.
