Dear Mr. Denton:
Enclosed for filing with the Commission are 3 originals and 19 copies of Philadelphia Electric Company's Application for Amendment of Facility Operating Licenses DPR-44 and DPR-56. This Application requests approval of proposed changes to the Environmental Technical Specifications contained in Appendix B to the Operating Licenses. The proposed changes would delete certain thermal effluent monitoring requirements in view of the issuance of an NPDES permit which contains a)propriate thermal limitations and make other conforming changes to the Tec inical Specifications.
In accordance with Section 170.12 of the Commission's Regulations, a check payabic to the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissicn in the amount of $150 is enclosed to cover the filing fee for this Application.
