CONFIRMATION OF UPCOMING NRC INSPECTION AT YOUR FACILITY
Dear Mr. Sakofsky:
This letter confirms the dates of October 2-3. 1997 for the U. S. Nuclear

Regulatory Commission staff to conduct an inspection of the Gould's Pumps, Incorporated (Gould's) facility in Seneca Falls, New York.
These dates were established in a telephone conversation on September 22, 1997. between Mr.
James Heid of your staff and Mr. Joseph Petrosino of this office.
The inspection will relate to the implementation of your 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B, and 10 CFR Part 21 program that you have established to control Gould's product qualification, design, procurement, and manufacturing activities associated with nuclear power plant safety-related and associated
-systems.
