We have commenced the safety evaluation of your application dated May 19,1999, for registration of the Model Beacon attenuation correction device. However, we have not been able to complete the safety evaluation and to issue the registration certificate before the State of Ohio becomes an Agreement State. Approval of sealed sources and devices is an Agreement State function; consequently, we will transfer your application to the State of Ohio for final evaicat!On and registration.
