Dear Mr. Brown:
We have commenced the safety evaluation of your applications for registration of your industrial measurement gauges which you submitted to NRC between June 1998, and March 1999, as listed in the table below. However, we have not been able to complete the safety evaluations and to issue the registration certificates before the State of Ohic becomes an Agreement State. Approval of sealed sources and devices is an Agreement State function; consequently, we will transfer your applications to the State of Ohio for final evaluation and registration.
