By letter dated September 22, 1986, your company submitted Draft 6 Proposed Revision 7 to Topical Report No. SL-TR-1A entitled " Quality Assurance Program" to the NRC for review. Under the provisions of 10 CFR 170.21.J, requests for review of topical reports and revisions and amendments to accepted reports are to be accompanied by an application fee of $150. Subsequently, companies are billed at six-month intervals or when the review is completed (sl70.12(f)) for full costs up to

$20,000 for each topical report or revision to an accepted topical report. Your September 22 request was not accompanied by the required application fee of $150. Therefore, your company is requested to remit this application fee to our office.
