Nelson Grace In our previous correspondence on this subject, Georgia Power Company described a potentially reportable condition whereby Dragon needle valves experienced high noise and vibration levels, leakage, and, in one case, stem failure; and indicated that the evaluation of this concern was expected to be completed by May 30, 1986.
We have been unable to complete our evaluation as originally expected and now expect to inform the USNRC of the results of our evaluation by June 20, 1986.
