Dear Mr. Denton:
Please add the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio to your mailing lists to receive publication relevant to Davis-Besse, Perry and the Beaver Valley units.
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has directed its Utility Staff to conduct several comprehensive prudency investigations on their jurisdiction-ally regulated nuclear plants. The first study is, " Comprehensive Assessment of The Perry Nuclear Power Plant", the second study is, " Davis-Besse Nuclear Generation Station, Loss of Feed Water Investigation", and the third will be a review of " Beaver Valley Nuclear Plant Cost Assessment". Two of these studies are near completion and await litigation, and the third will be subject to our review process shortly.
During our communications with various NRC Staff members, they have indicated to us that we should petition your department to receive,"The Service List", publication. The receipt of this Service List will be of immediate benefit in evaluating our current audits. This publication will also provide us with the capability to monitor any major future events that might require our involvement.
We request to be placed on the mailing list for the publications for Perry, Davis-Besse and Beaver Valley. If you need any further explanation or definition on any of the above audits or potential future applications of these reports, please contact me. Thank you for your consideration.
