The Comittee provides advice, as requested by the Director. Division of Industrial and Medical Nuclear Safety. Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards, on solicy and technical issues that arise in regulating the medical use of )yproduct material for diagnosis and therapy. The appointed Chairman of the Committee will conduct all meetings and will prepare minutes summarizing the deliberations of each meeting. The minutes will include the Committee's recommendations for future actions.
Subcommittees may be convened to address specific problems when it is not necessary for the full Committee to be present.
