This is to confirm the telephone conversation on September 19, 1997, between Mr. Kamal Naidu of this office and you concerning the inspection at your Lombard office on October 20-23, 1997, to review design documentation on batteries used in Class IE applications. We plan to conduct an inspection at the GNB facility at Fort Smith, where the batteries are being manufactured on November 3-7, 1997, to review the implementation of your quality assurance program and commercial-grade dedication activities.
