SUMMARY
SCHEDULE SUPPLEMENT AND VARIANCE REPORT TMI MODIFICATIONS:
No schedule slippage this report; however, environmental qualification (EQ) has identified two drywell wide-range pressure transmitters that are already installed that require replacement. This issue may impact the schedule in the near future, depending on availability of replacement transmitters.
H022 ANALYZER (EQ):
No schedule slippage this report; however, the award of the contract may slip impacting the completion date due to the fact that no vendors currently under consideration are EQ-qualified vendors. We are currently reviewing vendor data.
LIMITOROUE VALVES (EO):
This schedule has not slipped since.the last report; however, one open item remains, the purchase of DC limotorque mot, ors.,,Pur, chase _ request is in Power Stores.
TORUS REWORK:
The fill torus date has slipped three days from 26 Sep to 29 Sep due to an increase in the painting activities within the torus. The torus ready for fuel load date has not slipped this report; however, G-38 spec approval may-impact this date due to the impact on RHR/CS operability checks.
ANALOG TRIP INSTRUMENTS:
This schedule has improved since the last report. The modifications complete date has changed from 29 Sep to 26 Sep with a resultant change in the testing complete date from 31 Oct to 26 Oct. These changes are due to " firming" up the scope for this modification. G-38 spec approval date may slip this modification in the future.
DRYWELL STRUCTURAL STEEL:
This schedule has slipped from 06 Oct to 29 Oct for completion of the modification. This slippage is due to a. revision to the modification estimated scope.
This modification may further slip due to the engineering reanalysis being required.
DNE may have to remodel with a potential slip of one month.
. DRYWELL PENETRATION & CABLE (EO):
This schedule has not changed since the last report; however, the scope has changed in that the interference removal scope has significantly decreased while the scope of splicing has increased.
CRD INSERT AND WITHDRAW LINES (INSIDE DRYWELL):
This schedule has slipped from 21 Oct to 12 Nov 86.
This slippage is due to a reevaluation of the work scope as additional drawings are received. The original estimates were based on order of magnitude without the benefit of drawings available.
BASELINE PROGRAM:
This schedule has not slipped since the last report; however, there are several issues being evaluated that have a potential to slip this schedule.
APPENDIX R U2 MODS:
This schedule has not slipped since the last report; however, the evaluation of non-implemented.ECNs may significantly slip the schedule. Specifically, the unit battery board room sprinkler modification may slip the work completion schedule,to 25 Feb 87.
EQUAL PROGRAM:
Equal program is currently forecast for 15 Sep completion.
This has moved from 01 Sep due to the addition of six issues that must be addressed by engineering.

The field inspection and verification as well as analysis and drawing issue of cable tray systeps and their respect ivu seismic supports for handling safety related cables. The exact philosophy which will be utilized to atfect the G
verification and analysis of the cable trays and supports has not been settled. The level of detail neede'd from the g
field has not been determined.
The actual management team and engineering support requtred are r.ot in place, in orcer to accomplish these task without prejudice to the ongoing efforts proposals are being solicited from outside A/E 1irac vi as well as TVA-0E.
This effort will be assigned, based on the methods recommended, cost involved and schedule considerations.
The seismic problems associated with the cable trays was identified in mid 1985, uhen OE personnel were asked to review na possible overfill conditions in the plant.
This request was made as a result of a Corrective Action Report ger.erated by Nuc Pr personnel. The walkdown revealed plant conditions differing from the design drawings. These conditions affected the TVA's ability to assure the regulator that the cables would be adequately supported in a design basis event.
A revision to this project justification cost and schedule will,be required once any required modificationp have been scoped.
