Dear Sir or Madame:
Effective September 4,1997, the Health Physics office merged with the Department of
- Envimnmental Health and Safety. The regulatory and licensing res psibihties of the - '
} radiation safety officer were assumed by Eric J. Boeldt, Manager of Radiation Protection, in the Department of Environmental Health and Safety. Those duties had been the responsibility of Rodger W. Granlund, University Health Physicist, who was in charge of 4
the Health Physics OtYice. The Health Physics Office was one of the Intercollege Research Pror, rams under the Vice President for Research and Dean of the Graduate School. Mr.
Grudund will retire on October 1,1997. The NRC was notified of this change by our letter 4
dated September 4,1997.
A copy of the proposed Technical Specifications change is attached (6.1.1 and 6.1.2). This
, submittal replaces our organization chart submitted on April 7,1997.- Please include the change provided by this letter as pa.rt of Amendment 32.
