Dear Mr. Themelis:
We have completed our review of the Radiological and Engineering Assessment dated June 12, 1986, for the vicinity property (SL-628) located at 4500 South Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, which was submitted on July 16, 1986.
Based on our review of the Radiological and Engineering Assessment and the additional information provided by MK-Ferguson dated August 28, 1986, we agree with your recommendation to leave some residual radioactive material in place on this property in accordance with the criteria for applying supplemental standards contained in 40 CFR 192.21 (a) and (c).
Therefore, we concur with the proposed remedial action for vicinity property SL-628.
