(b): September-25, 1986 letter from L.N. Olshan to D.L. Farrar.
Dear Mr. Denton:
Reference (a) provided the NRC Staff with Commonwealth Edison company's proposed design for the ATWS Mitigation System for the Byron /
Braidwood Stations.
In addition, updated, estimated implementation dates were provided.
Reference (b) contained a request for specific information regarding the ATWS Mitigation System. Enclosed with this letter is Revision 1 to "ATWS Mitigation System Specific Design for Byron /Braidwood Stations". Subsection 4.9 has been amplified to provide the remainder of the requested information that was not included with reference (a).
The enclosed revision should replace the original design description provided in reference (a). Six (6) copies of this letter and enclosure are provided for your review.
