Dear Mr. Taylor:

This is in response to your letter dated May 6,1986, to Mr. Robert Minogue, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA),

four categories of records related to the Soviet Union's nuclear industry and marketed reactors, the April 1986 accident at the Soviet Union's Chernobyl plant, and specified plants located in this country.

During your telephone conversation with Ms. Linda Robinson on May 12, 1986, in which .she requested clarification of the scope of your request, you stated that this request covers only requested records in the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research.

I have been informed that office has no records subject to your F0IA request.
