Dear Ms. Bennington:
In accordance with 10 CFR 73.37, we request that you provide us with NRC approval for the pons listed below for the transport ofirradiated nuclear fuel:
I Port ofElizabeth,New Jersey Port ofNewark, New Jersey Pon of Baltimore, Maryland (Dundalk Marine Terminal)
Portsmouth, Virginia (Portsmouth Marine Terminal)
Please note that the ocean vessel transporting irradiated fuel may only transit these ports.
In the case of shipments being transported to or from a specific port, we will arrange for route plans as required.
The most immediate shipment is of spent nuclear fuel from Nonvay to General Electric in Vallecitos, Califomia, which is scheduled for this May.
