ACCIDEIT ANALYSIS BRANCH -

+

',;. 310.24- Your response to Question 310.11 was not satisfactory.

l (3.5). In question 310.11, you were requested to provide separate listings of the high trajectory missile (HTH)

,'I

~

strike ' probabilities in Table 3.5-5 with respecc to

' ' the contribution of the turbine missiles f rem each

. turbine unit. Your response in Amand:.ent 4 lists the HTH strike probabillrias with respect to each carget but does not show the contribution to the overall probability value from each turbine unit. Therefore, provide separate listings of.the HTM strike probability values in Table 3.5-5 which clearly snow the contribution to each overall probability value fron e.ach turbine. In addition, include-the ef fective barrier thickness in Table 3.5-0 for each target (i.e. , concrete thicknesses of roofs, ceilings, etc.).

training program is the responsibility of the Plant -

Superintendent. The Plant Training Coordinator may

}q. be delegated the responsibility of development and i implementation of the program. ,

l The applicant states that a training program.will be .

i established to provida plant personnel with sufficient '

, knowledge and operating experience to start up, operate, and maintain the plant in a safe and efficient manner. -

The training program is to be developed by WPPSS with principle assistance from the Combustion Engineering Company.

Training for the personnel to be licensed.will include; Basic Nuclear Training; Research Reactor Training and Operation; Observation at an operating PUR; a Plant System lecture series; Simulator Training and practical

  • On-the-Job training. Maintenance and technical staff personnel will receive specialized training in their particular fields. Station personnel will also receive training in security and emergency plans, adminstrative -

i procedures and radiation protection, as appropriate.

- The informa!1on submitted relative to these subjects is satisfactory at the construction permit stage of review, for the preoperational test program, for operator licensing, and for fuel loading.
