Enclosed is a letter irom Mr. John A. Miller, Regional Director, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Region Vil, dated August 21,1997, which notified the State of Missouri i
of deficiencies identified during the August 1213,1997, Callaway Nuclear Plant exercise.
Three deficiencies were identified: (1) public instructions and emergency information (state l
emergency operations center), (2) emergency information (joint public information center), and (3) traffic / access control (Osage county emergency operations center).
l We request that you assist of fsite of ficials with corrective actions as necessary and track the State's corrective actions for these deficiencies. Please keep this office informed of the status lof resolution of these issues.
